Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the late 1970s. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was employed as a theatre actor in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her hand at television and film roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it wasn't until the late 1990s that she took on an acting role on The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood, which was filmed in the mid 2000's. She was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was another of her characters. Gunn was on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in the show Numbered Day, which is which is a series of audio dramas. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the plot of Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and the eventual end of their relationship echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final years of his life.
