Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British and American sitar player. She also plays music. She received the British House of Commons' Shield as the youngest, and first female recipient. Alongside receiving nine Grammy nominations and nine Grammy nominations, she also became the first Indian-born musician to perform at the award ceremony. Anoushka Shakar is a promising young rising singer on Indian Sitar, is Anoushka. She is the child of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was a child who bounded back and forth from London and New Delhi. When she was 13 she performed her first performance on stage in New Delhi. After that, she relocated in Encinitas CA, where she earned the High School diploma with honors in 1999. Anouskha still has a promising performing and recording careers, even though she's young. Her father was with her in many performances for some time. She has released Anourag her first solo album in 1998. She released the album Live At Carnegie Hall, a Grammy-nominated album a year later. She has appeared at many famous venues throughout the world. Anoushka isn't just a performer. Bapi the The Love of My Live, a biographical picture written in tribute to her father Ravi Shankar was published in 2002. She has also acted in films in 2003 she played the role in the film Dance Like a Man where she portrays the role of a teenage Bharat Natyam performer. Anoushka shankar is a rising superstar and her fame is expected to continue growing. Anoushka shankar is an English native who lived her early days split between London, Delhi and California. In Delhi during his birthday celebrations for his 75th birthday Anoushka first made an appearance as a sitar player before the crowd of four years following her nine-year-old father. The father of Anoushka travelled the world with her and she gained many experience. While still teenagers, Anoushka performed at Carnegie Hall in Peter Gabriel's WOMAD concert. The youngest female to win the House of Commons Shield, awarded by British Parliament in recognition of her musical talent and artistic ability in the Asian Arts.
